you have to tell us more. What phone you have? iPhone or Android?
Generally, reboot the phone first, try Reset All Networks
if you have an iPhone, make sure iOS and Carrier Profiles are both updated. But if you have an android, also update the OS, plus download Google Message and use it to send messages
