International calling minutes add ons that you purchase use minutes from these add ons only. So if you purchase the $15/1000 US minutes you can only use these minutes to call the US. If you purchase the $15/300 International minutes you can use these minutes to call any of the countries listed.
The "More is Merrier" holiday 500 International minutes add on can be used to call within Canada, to the US and the list of international destinations however it has been tested that you can also call the additional countries that are listed on the $15/300min international add on.
If you prefer to save the holiday gift add on for international calls only it is suggested that you purchase the $5/500 min Canada wide calling add on (or other add ons) so that if you run out of your plan minutes (on the $15 plan) it will automatically switch to it instead of the more expensive holiday gift add on.
All incoming minutes regardless of their origin country are free with the exception of a couple old grandfathered plans.
All rewards and purchased or gifted add ons are tied to your account not your plan.
Promotional bonus add ons will vary depending on the terms and conditions that they were added to your account for...but the general rule of thumb is 99% of the time bonus add ons will stay on your account when changing plans despite their specific terms and conditions.
Bonus recurring plan data add ons like the current 2GBBONUS promocode promotion will be lost 99% of the time when changing plans.
Changing plans with promotional bonuses are always YMMV so you must be willing to accept the possible loss of such bonuses when you make the decision to change plans.
Only the $15 plan has 100 limited minutes. All other accounts have unlimited minutes Canada wide. Add-ons will remain in your account until used up except US roaming which expire ten days after purchase. Usally promotions will have stipulations and in most cases you may lose any promos if you switch plans.
