@lily-stockley try to reseat your sim card. Power off the phone first, then take the sim card out for a min before you put it back and power up again
if still fails, Best is to test your sim card on another phone if you have one around

@lily-stockley - are you a current customer of public mobile, and have you activated these SIM cards?
If you have not activated them yet, you can do that here: https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/portal/activation
Also, note, you cannot use a previously used SIM that was once used for a previous account that is now closed.

Make sure that you have an active plan with your wireless carrier
You might need to remove your Sim card and put it back.

use browser from computer,and clear cache and cookies and use one page inPrivate mode,
or safari on private mode,
you want to new Activated or SIM Swap for existing line,
if you buy it new phone device and you have a existing line Active just you need take off old SIM card and reinsert in new device.
