iMessage was working but stopped working today.

Idk what happened but my sms has been broken since switching to public, iMessage was working for a few days but within the last few hours has stopped working and my number has gone back to trying to activate my number for iMessage. Should I call back the porting team?

Public Mobile is dealing with issues when it comes to SMS on Android and iMessages and FaceTime and such. There is no ETA of when it will be resolved. Here is their announcement.

We are aware that some of you are currently unable to successfully use iMessage and or FaceTime features,  and we understand how frustrating this can be. Our teams are working diligently to find the cause. 

In the meantime, please try troubleshoot steps:
Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will continue to keep you updated.

But the thing is, my iMessage was working earlier today. It stopped working out of nowhere and without being able to receive sms or iMessage, I’m in the dark from my friends and family.

@Matt2002 - There is an ongoing issue about iMessage activation. The porting team is not needed for iMessage since PM is actively trying to fix it. Also please do not send in a ticket because it will get you nowhere for the iMessage activation issues.
