On an iPhone 15 with eSIM, iMessages only sends and receives over WiFi. If I’m on cellular only, nothing sends or receives. I’ve tried toggling iMessages on and off, signing in and out of Apple ID, resetting cellular settings - nothing seems to work. Same for FaceTime.
messages and FaceTime do not appear in Cellular Data as apps either.

Thanks, but the issue is still persisting.

Thanks! Tried both, but still having the same issues. So far, I've tried:
- Installing a new eSIM
- Reset Network Settings
- Remove and added back phone number in settings
- Signed out and back in with Apple ID
Messages still does not work on cellular and does not appear in Cellular Data Usage as an app.
I've tried two different phones and three different eSIMS.

First, Reset Network Settings after a device reboot and check if you can send iMessage on data
If issue persists, remove your phone number from Settings menu, then re-enter it back after a device Reboot to force a iMessage re-registration
