iMessage Send and receive text message is still on "Waiting for activation"

I recently transfer my phone number to Public and in my settings on my pone it's still trying to activate it but i have done research and when you're supposed to receieve the confirmation sms i have not receive it.

Where did you port your number from? A cell, land line or other. Some take longer then others
