Depending upon the apps the phone has, you can use it as an alarm clock, notepad, radio, timer, camera, calendar, etc.
That's what I'm doing with mine.

The only thing that can CDMA devices owners can do with their phones is to keep it as souvenir, may be one day they wll show it to their Grand sons to remember them of old cell phones days that Grandpa was using
