I am travelling to Bali and was looking into getting an esim for my trip. My Samsung s20+ should have a sim manager under settings/connections (required for activating esim). I've learned that some carriers will lock or hide the "SIM card manager". Wondering if this is the case here.. Has Public mobile removed access to the SIM card manager on my phone? If so, is there a way to unlock the feature for my account so i can use a eSIM for my trip?
Otherwise.. any recommendations how i can use an eSIM?
Thanks!

As mentioned, make sure that your phone is eSIM compatible. PM does not lock SIM card manager. PM customers often purchase travel eSIM when abroad with no issues.
Might want to check out mobitmatter.com for cheaper eSIM options.

Take a look at this guide for more information.
Canadian models of the Samsung S20 do not support eSIM, while other international models do.
If you're able to confirm the model of your phone and determine it doesn't support eSIM, I recommend buying a local SIM card once you're in Bali. Hope you enjoy your trip!
