email not working

Hello, I have a new sim card and am trying to activate it but when I create account it says my email is already in use - xxxxxxxxxx@icloud.com

That's an interesting problem, @lauracarruthers!

 

The above suggestions are all great, reach out to a Moderator or using a temporary email address.  Here's some other thoughts...

 

Do you have any family/household members that may have used your email address to activate an account with Public Mobile?  Similarly, if that's actually your iCloud account- you may want to log in to see if you actually activated it successfully but missed it and am trying again... you can click "Forgot Your Password?" if you didn't setup a password properly or confirm your number.

@lauracarruthers  try activating using the live online method, and you could inquire about the email this way:  Public Mobile Online Activation Assistance

Looks like you’ll have to send a private message to a Moderator so they can fix it for you. Can you click the envelope icon on the top right, then ‘New Message’, and address your message to Moderator_Team.

Maybe use a different one to get started and then figure out why that email address seems to be already used. Are you certain of the spellings? Did you have a problem attempt and tried again? Has your payment method been charged? Maybe wait about an hour and try again.

 

And indeed you shouldn't have such a real looking username either.

@lauracarruthers please remove your personal info by clicking the 3-dots on top right of your post.  This is a public forum and many fraudsters are lurking about ready to steal customers' info.

 

Perhaps icloud email addy is not recognized by Public Mobile.... I said perhaps.
