I'm interested in moving my families phone plans over to PM. I see that there is a free eSIM option, and our phones all support this. My question is around signing up and obtaining the eSIMs for these family member phones. How would I go about the porting with eSIM for family members that are out of town (ie

Are the family members still in Canada? If so, that shouldn't be a problem. If they're in another country, that might be a different story.

Did the trick! Thanks a lot. Cheers

hi @scope11

try to reboot the phone and re-login the app

also, check if the Sim Manager or Settings-> Cellular has the Public Mobile esim already installed.  Make sure it is set as Primary and enabled with "turn on this line"

if esim still does not work or the esim is not there, ask PM agent to check

Thanks for this. I just began the process on my own phone. I seem to be stuck on eSIM "Activating". I have no service currently... Transferring/porting an existing number, received the text from them and replied "Yes". Shortly after they cut off service. eSIM seems to be installed on iPhone, but stuck on "Activating".  I have no temporary line... Any thoughts?

To use eSIM option, you need to install a publicmobile app on your phone. here is the link that how to use it, How to use eSIM

@scope11

Each PM phone number needs its own separate email address login for My account.

Easiest way to get eSIM is for your family member to download the PM app and follow instructions to activate new account and choose eSIM option.  You can start the activation process on the website, but eventually, need to download the app on the phone anyways to install eSIM and finish activation.

If out of town family members, that may be more difficult.  Maybe get somebody more tech saavy to help with that activation process.
