eSIM or SIM card

Can I get my old phone number from a new SIM card or do I need to purchase an eSIM card

You can get either SIM or eSIM (only if your phone is eSIM compatible). Just download the PM app and login to your account. You can purchase an eSIM. It is faster by purchasing from a Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klinik store. If you order it from PM it may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

I personally prefer the SIM because I can pop it out an put it into another phone.

eSIM you have to buy one for each device but if you are replacing an old eSIM on a new device…it will be free after 15 days of activation.

yes, of course you can keep same phone number with physical sim 

but a new PM sim card from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink. Then use the same email address to login My Account and go to Profile page to update the sim card number to the new one your have
