I have a physical SIM card in my iPhone 11 but need to switch to an eSIM as I purchased an iPhone 17. When I try to follow the steps to purchase an eSIM in the Public Mobile app on my iPhone 17, it says "Payment Failed! Please try again or use a different payment method". I have been paying for my subscription using vouchers and have enough funds in my account to cover the cost of the eSIM - which the payment screen acknowledges. I would not like to attach a credit card to my account as it says it will switch to auto-payment and that I will not be able to remove the credit card unless I replace it with an alternative payment method, and I would like to continue paying with vouchers. What can I do?
Thank you.

Update for anyone who may have come across this post: I added my credit card to my account and it allowed me to pay!

Yes I have more than $5 so it should be working. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app a few times now, shut off/on the phone, and it continues to say Payment Failed unfortunately.

you should be able to buy eSIM if you already loaded enough funds. So, to buy eSIM with Available funds, make sure you have at least $5
and try uinstall the PM app, reboot the phone and reinstall and try buying again
