What a mess! Did you ask to escalate to a tech support team? I’m trying that now as I was told to buy a physical sim (which I can’t do, my phone only takes eSIM). I’m hoping the tech team can do something about this …

Yes I have more than $5 so it should be working. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app a few times now, shut off/on the phone, and it continues to say Payment Failed unfortunately.
