e-sim with the same phone number as my physical SIM card

Hi,

Can I purchase e-sim with the same phone number as my physical SIM card?

My phone was stolen and I am trying to activate a new phone. I bought an e-sim card and looks like it has a different phone number. Does anybody knows how to buy e-SIM card with the same phone number as physical SIM card?

@Alexx3 yes, you will need to install the Public Mobile app on your new phone, then log in and go to the Account tab and from there you will see a spot that says Purchase SIM card, you can buy the eSIM from there and the app will assist in installing the eSIM which will continue to use your existing phone number

Replacing a physical SIM card with an eSIM card does not involve any new phone number.  A new phone numberrs means that a brand new Public Mobile account has been opened.  As for this new account, Public Mobile doesn't usually provided refunds. As for the phone numberr that had on the phone that was stolen, you'll need to log into the self serve account for that phone number and purchase an eSIM.
