Hello, all. I ported my number from pc to public mobile. I had to select a new temporary phone number prior to the port. After the port, the temporary number is still in self serve; how do I update it? thanks and have a great day.

Yes still send a message to mods
I have personally seen in the past Public assigns TWO phone numbers to a single SIM and both numbers work until you try to do something specific (often months later)

My PC mobile sim does not work, the public mobile sim is fully functional for calls, incoming and outgoing texts and the port was completed at noon today, December 28. Thanks.
So it doesn't seem to be a porting problem. The only other thing I can think of trying would be clearing your browser cache / log into your self serve account in incognito mode and see if that rectifies this.
If not, I recommend following @will13am's suggestion and send a private message to the moderator team (link provided in his post), asking them to check into your account and verify the details.

Is your phone / Public Mobile SIM fully functional with the number you have ported in? Talk, text and data, incoming and outgoing?
Is your old provider's sim still working?
When did you initiate your port in?

Was a port attempted after activation with a temporary number? If so, then it could be the port failed. You will have to seek help from the moderator team to resubmit the port. The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link. Refer to the following link for information on contacting the moderator team.
