i recently purchased some data add-on (1GB for 15 days) however they aren't working at all. i have already used up all the data within my normal plan but the add-on doesn't work, i'll turn my data on but it doesn't work at all. i've tried restarting my phone, refreshing my add-on and data usage, but i still can't get it to work.

Oh dear you purchased the wrong add on....contact customer support and explain your honest mistake and ask for a credit.

What plan do you currently have? When is your renewal? You may be better off renewing early, changing plans immediately to the $39/20gb plan or redeeming points for a data add on (10points=$15/1gb add on) depending on your circumstances and current plan.

As per @dust2dust it sounds like you purchased the US roaming package. Unless you're in the United States, that package you purchased won't work.
If you're here in Canada and you need data, this is the one you need to purchase.
If you've purchased the US package by accident, you can reach out to a CS Agent to refund your account.

However if you ARE in the US and trying to use this package, try changing the network over to Tmobile and reboot.
