Do I need to update my credit card info when only the expiry and the SC changes (I received a new one; same number, just these other 2 factors changed)?

It's. A pretty easy process if you follow those steps... In fact you can hop back and forth with different cards whether it's just different expiry dates or even prepaid or vanilla type mastercards if you want to use it for a renewal or 2.

Before logging into your self-serve account to update your credit card, recommend following this procedure to avoid the common glitches that sometimes occur with this process:

  1. Clear your browser's cache & cookies
  2. Use incognito mode
  3. Now, log into your self-serve account
  4. Click Payment tab
  5. Select "Manage My Card"
  6. Select "replace card"
  7. Type your address exactly as from your billing statement
  8.  Don't use a space in the postal code
  9.  Use ALL CAPS if necessary
  10.  Type everything, not letting autofill complete any fields

@frazerhk  if you are looking to see where to do this at, go to the PAYMENT tab in your self serve account, and see the bottom, left corner of this area shown below.

There you will need to remove or replace the one that is listed, then add the new one in.

Yes you need to login to your account in Make A Payment button then change your CC information.

Yes, you should update it. Although some merchants are able to receive infromation about updated cards directly from card issuers, I have not received any indication that Public Mobile practices this.
