Clear the cookie on your browser. Cookies will store all information entered in the past.

Are you using a browser that remembers logins? Or an iPad or iPhone that can do as well?

@kjnickel are you trying to activate new PM service for yourself?
or you have a PM service now and just don't have a My Account login yet?
If you are activating new account, then go to the activation portal https://activate.publicmobile.ca/ and use your email to activate (not your wife's)
if you are an existing PM customer already but just need to create a new My Account, you will need PM support to help you with that. Please open a "Forgot Password" type of ticket of this request:
1. Open ticket with Chatbot for faster response (2-48 hours), using direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
Start by typing "Forgot Login Information", then click "Contact Us",, then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗"
2. if you have problem with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

Public Mobile has web page cache issue so you might be looking at obsolete status. Click on little spinner refresh icons lower down. Try using different browser. Try Incognito/private mode. Clear browser’s cache. Try forced refresh. Use computer and not phone to log in.
You need unique email. Can you override your wife's?
