you have an account with PM already and using physical sim?

you can change over to esim by using the app.  Go to PM app, to go Account and Purchase esim there

for existing subscribers, you can transfer to esim by using Public Mobile app

To  new eSIM ,  first, download the app on your new phone.  Click Account from the bottom, then click Purchase SIM Card and select eSIM. 

Once it confirms your phone is eSIM compatible, click Pay $  and Install  and follow the prompt to complete and purchase and install eSIM on your device

If you are using iPhone, after installing the esim, remove the physical sim, reboot the phone.  Then go back and make sure the Public Mobile esim is enabled ("Turn on this line" is toggled on) and set as Primary
