I just had to change my payment method, but I am being forced to use the app, and my phone doesn't have room. How can I recover my account info so I can change to a different provider?

What payment method are you trying to change it to?
Did you know you can pay for your account using vouchers? You can purchase them from places like Shoppers Drug Mart and then you just dial 611 to upload them to your account.
You can of course use the App to update the method if you'd like but you can also do it online logging into your account. If you have problems the first time and it doesn't update, please log off, go into your browser settings and clear your cache cookies and history and then reboot your browser. Then try again.
EDIT: Just know that if you do have plans to switch to a different provider and you want to keep your number, your account must be active.
