Hi everybody
I have 2 questions...I had a canada wide talk plan, got it in Ontario region. I changed it for a simplier one because I was travelling and I thoungh I wasn't able to used outside the region.
I don't know what happened, but my auto paid didn't work on time and I just realized so, I want to activate my line, but 2 things come to my mind:
1- canada wide TALK, means that I can use it while I'm out Ontario or not? (I read some commentaries, but they are contradictories)
2- if the basic plan wasn't charged (and off course, I never used it) do I have to paid that one first or I can just change to a new plan a start from zero? mine is a prepaid plan, so, the line was suspended at the very moment that the company couldn't get the payment
Thanks in advance for your time and help
Regards
Tamara

@tamitara changing plans wile suspended might be tricky as I believe you need to add funds first then change plan. since I believe you are going to a higher plan cost the system might reactivate your old plan before you have a chance to do the plan change.
here is the announcement on changingplans while suspended:

@tamitaraCanada wide talk can be used to and from anywhere in Canada, you may have been confused by the Province only option which only lets you make calls within the province you are currently in (not necessarily the province you live). There is no base plan with Public Mobile, just plan options or make your own plan. If you want to transfer your phone number from another provider then your old account has to be active, you would have to work it out with them to get your phone working then transfer it.
With PM if you miss a payment you just have to pay for your next renewal withing 90 days and it will activate again, there are no late/reavtivation fees, after 90 days your account is removed and you will have to get a new SIM card and start again.

For your first question, it means you can call anywhere in Canada from anywhere in Canada.
For your second question, you should be able to switch to a new plan. Once paid for your account will be Active again.
