I just transfered my number from Freedom to Public yesterday. Now I can make calls but can't receive incoming calls. Everything else seems fine. HELP pls.😑

If you did proper porting as mentioned above, full service will be established within few hours of porting.

From my experience, you will first get ability to send/receive SMS and then phone service.

Just be patient 😎

 

If you do not get full service until, let say today 3pm, ask for a PORTING assistance phone number and one of us will send it to you by private message.

Did you confirm the SMS text from Freedom that you are porting over to PM with YES with the Freedom SIM in the phone. There is a 90 minute window for you to confirm.

Next power off the phone then switch the Freedom SIM to the PM SIM and power on the phone.

If you missed any of these important steps, contact a CSAgent to restart the porting process by clicking on the SIMon chat button and create a ticket.

Hello @annabeljin 

 

Did you leave the Freedom SIM card inside the cell phone to receive an SMS text from Freedom to approve the port within 90 minutes of activating with Public Mobile?

If you did approve via this text message, then try toggling into airplane mode for a minute, then back to regular mode.

 

Also try removing the Public Mobile SIM card and reinserting it.

Have you changed your network settings? Perhaps rebooting your phone as well.
