can't call out, message for nos. called says 'not registered on network' - help pls!

As the subject for this post above says,I cannot call out on my Public Mobile Phone...each time I try I  get the message 'not registered on network'...this is my only phone in my house and I am not very mobile...can anyone tell me what is happening and what to do?  I tried shutting the phone off and turning it back on, but no change.

@jan_o Sorry to hear you are having issues with getting service on the phone. 

Have you tried to reboot the phone? most of the time phone just needs to be registered back on the network,

Hi if you an old customer say pre January trying calling *611 on your mobile and see if it makes a call to PM customer service agent. If not you can email via the email away link on website contact us link and give them the details of your issue. Just a question is the phone account still active as is your account in good standing with no payment due?
