My phone says I can only use the sos service.

I used my phone online and was surprised my two step authentication didn't work ... no code was sent.

I then went to make a phone call to no avail ... and then I see the "SOS only" message on the iphone. I've turned the phone on / off and I am connected to my wifi network.

My next auto pmt is scheduled for tomorrow March 19, 2025

Never had this problem in 5 years ... solutions?

It'd be great if you would share with us, more details on how you solved it. If solving it was routed in suggestions provided by others, the usual thing to do is to award the coveted SOLUTION to whomever provided the best suggestion. I'm sure they would appreciate the acknowledgment.

It sounds like your SIM and phone is not connected to PM network.

Call 1-855-4PUBLIC from another phone and check the status of your account.

If it states that the number does not exist in PM system then your account is closed due to 90 days of nonpayment. It could be that the registered CC has expired and monthly payment has stopped for longer than 0 days. You will need to open a new account with a new SIM and pick a new number.

If It states that your account is suspended then you need to make a manual payment to continue with service and contact a CS_Agent to help you access your account if you are having issues login to your account.

PM is on 30 days schedule, and the cycle date could be confusing because of it.  You can try again to login by asking the code to send to email.  Click Didn't Receive code and try Send email

or call 1855-4PUBLIC, enter your number and check if account is suspended 

or ask PM to check.   Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket.  So, you will need to message them here:
