@cg17  I have a 5g cell

That doesn't guarantee that it is VoLTE approved, can you give us the make and model?  Also sometimes 4G/LTE works better in the USA than 5G so try that if you haven't already.

Is your phone on this list?

try changing to 4G or LTE, many said it is easier to connect

and try all 3 different networks.  Change to them manually: AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon

@cg17

Do you have a PM plan with US service or a US add-on?

What phone do you have? You need a phone with VoLTE for almost all of the US.

Did you enable roaming on your phone?

Where are you located in US? Obviously if you are in the middle of some desert, you might not have any service.

Try resetting your network connection or rebooting/restarting your phone.

If none of that solves your issue, contact a customer service agent:

Good luck.

@cg17  You have a Canada-US (Mexico) plan or US roaming add on?  Do you have data roaming enabled?  Is anything working, voice calls, data, texting?  If only data and texting are working then it suggests you don't have a VoLTE approved phone, which is necessary in the USA since they shut down 3G in 2022.  What phone do you have?
