@computergeek541 - Oh, that makes more sense. So the carrier has to text / email people about the change.

And since you got the SMS / Email on April 15th you have till May 15th to be switched because carriers have to provide a 30 day notice of a change.

The text message sent by Public Mobile specifically mentions that the change won't happen for at least 30 days from the time of the text message.

So I got my data bonus March 28. I got the official text on April 15 advising of the change. So let's see what happens.

@olasears - On May 1st, you will no longer be getting $$$ credits, after May 1st you will get 5% back every $1 you spend, 1 point per refer-a-friend, and 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, or 20 points from the community. You will also get 10 points as "loyalty" & 5 welcome points.

You can redeem them for special offers & add-ons & a $15 bill credit.

Your existing credits will stay, but once they are depleted to $0 or less than your plan amount you will have to pay via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Public Mobile Payment vouchers.

Nobody can really say when any particular customers will be changed from rewards to points.  May 1 is only the first possiblie date for some customers and when the transitions will start.  As for me personally, Public Mobile would not be allwoed to switch me over to points on May 1 as I was only officially notified of the change on April 15.

@olasears I hope we get April's rewards. I know they said come May, but I don't recall seeing them telling us what date in May it will be effective.
