According to Telus outage site, the issue for Mobile is now resolved. It is down to only affecting Home Phone and 911 Landline
Service has been restored to a majority of customers, with repair efforts continuing for the remaining impacted services.

All is good in Saanich. @toughguy61 , maybe try a reboot and check the network connectivity.

Turn off automatic networks and manually connect to Public. You might be connecting to US towers. Do you get the welcome to the US texts? Are you in the south Island area?

check the Telus outage map for any reported issues.
You can also try rebooting your device and resetting network connections. Sometimes that resets the connection to the mobile provider.

HI @toughguy61 Make sure your network is manually set to Public Mobile
change network to 3G Only.
Test call and text again
