Have purchased a subscription plan and sim on December 3, but haven't received the sim yet. I was told that I would be receiving it within 4 business days. Kindly provide details on delivery and also whether my subscription will be active during these times.

Sim card delivery from PM online could be as many as 3 weeks
Your sim card should arrive later this week . If you still do not receive the sim card next week, you can open ticket with PM support to confirm if they got the order and if the sim card is on the way. They might offer to resend you another one or ask you to buy one form local Telus/Koodo/MobileKlink store and reimburse you the extra cost
