It's frequencies are UMTS / HSPA 850, 900 and 2100 MHz. I believe this means that there is only 1 frequency that matches Public Mobile...the 3G 850 MHz.

The SM-G386W is the the Samsung Galaxy Core LTE. It is an Android smart phone, although an old one. When carriers advertise a model name, they sometimes leave out parts of the name on the packaging, especially on the website or if they repackage it into a specialized prepaid carrier packaging. In this case, anything that has a model number of G386W is exactly the same phone, whether it says Galaxy Core or Galaxy Core LTE on the packaging.

The Galaxy Core LTE G386W is the same model that both Koodo Mobile and Telus Mobility have sold. Interestingly enough, I happened to come a across one that was sold by Koodo that required a network unlock code after inserting a Telus SIM card (but obviously not for a Koodo SIM card).
