Hey there! Can Telus make a widget that shows how much data has been used rather than having to go into the app each time?

for 3rd party Widget , Data Usage Manager is a good one that you can choose Custom and set for 30 days

There's a bunch of free data counting widgets for Android, but most of them go based on 1 month counters. Public Mobile does 30 or 90 day plans. Public Mobile is a no frills brand. Remember that the expense for Public Mobile to make a widget would be passsed on to customers, so that's a consideration.

for community rewards, yes, we work on it. But I am pretty sure you enjoy it. You won't spent that much time daily just to get $10 a month. You must enjoy the "work" to stay here. LoL

Not pessimistic but a realist . And the voLtE has a shortlist not all phones are supported same with 5G and not 5G+ but yes the app itself was a nice surprise. As for my community rewards that’s not a free be we work to earn those rewards so not just a hand out like you making it sound . But I hope 🤞 that OP suggestion will come to fruition

you are very pessimistic. Before the PM app, no one expect PM will has it
no one expect we will have some VoLTE here
no one expect PM will have 5G before Koodo has it
these all cost money, but we have it now
who knows when PM will have the next app update and maybe they will add it
also, PM has been giving back to customer. You have been getting at least 10 points ($10) from Community give back program. PM has similar plan price as others, and with the rewards , many find that PM has the lowest cost here and stays. So, PM has been giving back to customers

Your right OP has great idea , but would that cost PM money to implement? If it did then I don’t see it ever happening since they went after the old legacy rewards in attempt to save money . Not give back to customers

good idea!!
but it is actually fast and quick to login the PM app and check the usage (just remember to drag down the screen to force and update)
but honest, it would be great to have the widget, suggest to PM directly

@RazRee Since Telus does not have such a tool I don’t think public mobile will anytime soon , however if you have android phone you can track your data usage that in the phone settings
