I never realized this before but it seems kind of dumb that the 2FA system uses a text message to give you access to your account. My wife's account isn't working and she can't log into her account to check what is wrong because she can't receive any text messages. Why isn't there an option to send the code via email? If I didn't have a public account I am not even sure we could put in a ticket.

Personally, I just went into the eversafe preferences and removed the phone number... now it always defaults to e-mail only. Now it doesn't automatically text the phones of the family accounts I manage, and the e-mails are sent right away. I would even consider it more secure...

If you did not receive or cannot receive your 2FA code by SMS - Click on: ‘Didn’t get a code’ and you will get more options. Chose email.

Hey @Kel_varnsen
There actually is. If you press on Didn't get code a few times, it will give the option of an email.
Can’t get the 6 digit 2FA code to your phone?
First, sign into your account at www.publicmobile.ca and use the email you signed up with and the password. If it asks you for a 6 digit code, it will say at the top left CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY.- Enter the 6- digit code sent to *********. But it’s not working!!! As you see by the screenshot below, 1. Click the This is a trusted device. 2. Didn’t get the code? Click on that.

Then, the next window that pops up is this.

Click on Send email. Here it will send you the 6 digit code to the email you registered with. This step is very important. Do not just copy and paste. Enter each digit using your keypad.
You should now be able to get into your account.
