Why cant I see certain plans to switch to in my account?

Im trying to switch my subscription to the $26/20gb plan, and it does not show up as an option in my account. But it does show up on the Public mobile home page. 

Any way to switch to that plan?

if you want to keep your current number, you'll need to port out to a different network. When you've successfully ported out, your current Public Mobile account will be deactivated. You can then get a new PM sim to start a new account on any plan available at that time...and port your number back in to PM.

I've heard there's on-line service to "park" your cell number (for a fee of course)...but I've never had experience using them.

@kingkelly   Yes you could do that but you would lose your current phone number, if that matters to you. The number can't be transferred between PM accounts

Certain plans are only available to customers on certain plans. If you are on a higher value plan (e.g. $29, $35, etc) you may not be able to switch to the plan you want.

Some plans are available for NEW customers only.

You can switch to plan ONLY available on your account. Do not be surprised if you cannot downgrade your plan.

@kingkelly   You can only switch to whatever you see in your account these days, usually it is mainly higher priced plans with the odd single lower priced one.
