Thank you. This puts my mind at ease, a parents nightmare with other providers when kids go over the data.

@DT1981 Correct Public Mobile is prepaid in advance. Once all is used up you're cut off until next renewal or you can go buy a data add-on or contact support to renew early or change plans to one with higher data and pay immediately.
Never overcharges.

Yes, the service will be cut off when the data runs out. No surprise charges or overages with Public mobile.

My son has the phone for this account, will the service be cut off automatically so he can't use anymore data?

@DT1981 on overview page. The My data and add-on section. Will show how much you have left. If nothing shows there it means you used up all your data. You can also click "View My Usage" under the "Purchase add-on button" to see.
