I wanted to change my plan but not until my next billing cycle as I just paid for my current plan today. It changed for today and took additional money out of my bank for the new plan as well.

Did you click on change your plan NOW or on your NEXT RENEWAL DATE?
If you click on NOW, you will be charge for the old plan plus the new plan.
If you click on your next renewal date. Your old plan will expire with no further payment. The new plan will kick in and you will be charged for the new plan.
You will need to contact a CS_Agent to check which one you clicked on and if there is a glitch then you will be credited back for the old plan.

This is why there is an option to change for end of cycle. I'm not sure PM will refund you but you can ask by creating a ticket using the chat bot down in the bottom right corner. Enter Customer Service and follow the prompts.
