When I text contacts my phone # appears as a different number

I've had the same phone # for several years but after porting back to Public Mobile some people told me when I text them, the message comes from a DIFFERENT number.  

They can still call and text to my regular number but the reply comes from the Different #. Any solution to this ?  I'm not spoofing my # or anything. Thanks.

It's a Android (Pixel 7). Thanks just submitted a ticket, tried to do that first but always have trouble finding the link.

go to iMessage's settings, remove the phone number and  reboot the phone. 

Then go back to iMessage's settings and add the phone number back

@henry990bmm, you mentioned you ported back to Public Mobile, how long ago? To me it sounds like your porting probably did not complete properly as when you first move over to PM you get a temp number and then porting should take replace that number. Have you tried contact a CS agent? (orange round circle in the bottom right corner)
