I noticed I have 2 lines in my usage that look like this:
05/01/2021 12:56 | Web | 0.717 MB | MB | $0.00 |
05/01/2021 3:53 | Web | 1.831 MB | MB | $0.00 |
Once again, I have my data turned off and I am using my house wifi, so I am wondering what this means or why it is happening?
Solved! Go to Solution.

If using iPhone:
Go to Settings, Cellular, scroll through to find Wi-Fi assist. Swipe OFF.
If using Android:
Go to Settings, WiFi, click on 3 little dots in upper right, turn OFF intelligent WiFi.

@abbigalececcato yes in your phone settings you have to look for it. Each model of phone has different settings. You should also check for mobile data always on in developer options. Then proceed to set updates to wifi only.

Is there any way to turn this off?

@abbigalececcato Data Event Web means internet data was used for something. Check your settings. There is a setting called wi-fi assit or wi-fi plus that will connect you back to data even if you're on wi-fi if wi-fi is weak of having issues.

Text mesages (SMS) don't use data.
These entries mean that Public Mobile's system have recorded internet/data being used.
