I am in northern Ontario small town Wawa, is that the cellphone service works well here. If it works well in here, can I get local number?

Darn, yeah - even though @gblackma noted that (249) 327-xxxx is a "TELUS Integrated Communications" rate centre for Wawa, ON, it's not listed as an available city for a new number on the Public Mobile Self-Serve site, and the area code/prefix is not valid for a port-in either... Looks like the best option @Tommyliu985 can do is find the nearest/next-best city where callers might appreciate being able to reach him via a local call.

Yes, the services will work good in your area. PM uses telus towers and i just checked the coverage will be good!
You can always test out as well starting with a 15$ plan. If you like the services you can change plan on next renewal!
According to google there are 2 area codes in WAWA areacodes 705 and 249.
choose which ever option comes when activating the PM plan.
Also you will be able to get a 10$ credit if you use a referral code when signing up.
Good luck!
Cheers!

@Tommyliu985 If Bell or Telus offers good coverage then more than likely Public will work well.

@Tommyliu985 Public mobile uses the Telus/Bell towers so you will get the best coverage possible. Cheers

@Tommyliu985 according to this you have coverage https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/coverage and you should be able to get a 249 area code, not 705 Telus has no 705 numbers local to Wawa. Make sure that the next 3 digits are 327 for it to be a local number. Ie 249 327 xXxX. See here http://www.cnac.ca/data/COCodeStatus_NPA249.htm
