Public Mobile’s protocol for porting issues is that you submit a ticket. The phone number the other member sent you is for Koodo and Telus only.
The Public Mobile chatbot is currently unable to create trackable tickets for members who are unable to log in. So for this reason, please use the following link to contact customer service.

A Customer Service Agent will reply to your community inbox here:

During business hours (9 AM-10 PM EST) you can expect a response within 30 minutes, but it may be longer depending on current volumes.

hi @JeffWilford
don't send ok to cancel, you reply yes to the port authorization text and account will be closed after
for your port status, PM porting support team can help. I have sent you the porting support team number. Please check your Community inbox (https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage), check for the number and call

As long as she says YES to the text within 90 minutes, wait of the name Telus on the top of the phone screen go to SOS. Then once it's SOS, it means the number has been transferred. She can then take out the Telus SIM and insert the Public Mobile SIM. Then reboot the phone.

Once the port to Public Mobile is successfully completed, your Telus account will deactivate automatically. No need for you to cancel.
