- Is there a way to deactivate or do away with VM on my Android since there's no 'calling' PM support?
Or is the only solution to keep my VM full?

you cannot remove it but you can turn on extended absence.
- Call voicemail and log in with your PIN.
- press 3 (manage greetings),
- then 4 (manage extended absence greeting),
- then 2 (record a new extended absence greeeting) and record a message that indicates to your caller you are not accepting messages.
- Then press 4 to enable extended absence
- Last, , press 5 to dissallow anyone to leave you a message.

Thanks but the general idea is to have chronic voicemail leavers think that I don't have voicemail on my phone . I try letting my VM get full but then if I see them in person they tell me 'you need to delete messages, your VM is full."
Just can't win lol. But thanks anyway.

Voicemail cannot be deactivated, @Ramshackle10
If you don't wish to use it, just ignore it.
You can go into the voicemail system, and while listening to the message, tap 7 to delete individual messages.
