Does Public work on WMSATSEA on cruise ship and how does billing work if it does ?
yesterday
We cruised the Mediterranean last year and got an eSIM, and used it while in each port. Worked well in that way. Planing to get Caribbean in Feb, and planning an eSIM for that as well.

Hey @DavePierce
I'm sure when you signed up with Public Mobile and read the Terms of Service, it said Public Mobile only works in Canada and the US.... and now Mexico. The only option I can suggest is to get an app like TextNow and get a local number to where you live and then use the ships WiFi to make and take calls from back home or to home. My friend just did that. She called me every day! I regret telling her about that app. LOL

There is no cellular service from any Canadian carrier, there is no such thing as roaming at seas, ie, none of them work with WMSATSEA
you can buy Wifi with your cruise line, around $30/day, then you can use VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo to make phone calls using the app, or you can use Whatsapp or Facetime to make video calls
Monday
@DavePierce no you will not have service on board the cruise ship.
Public Mobile does not roam outside of Canada, US amd now Mexico with appropriate plan.
You can bring your phone if you like.and connect to any wifi where avaliable when you dock. You will not be charged any roaming fees.

HI @DavePierce
sorry, PM service won't work on cruise ship hence it could cost you anything (as there is no service) PM only has roaming in US and Mexico.
on the cruise ship, best and cheapest to get the onboard Wifi. You can use those cruise cellular (eg. there is a provider calls Cellular At Sea) but it way more expensive
