Alternatively you can refer to this guide (https://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/set-up-mobile-voicemail) from Telus. Scroll down to the bottom and click on "TELUS Voicemail Quick Reference Guide" for detailed options. Since Telus is the parent company, same options apply to Public mobile as well.

All calls that you receive while phone is off will be forwarded to your voicemail and it will show up as outgoing call in your history. It will not be counted against your allowance though

Did you check your voicemail for messages ?

If it's important, they'll call back. Check to make sure they didn't leave a voicemail for you.

@Rabbit58 Is it a 4001 number? Then its your voicemail. Check it.
