Does my plan that includes unlimited international calls mean i can use while I am in the usa

If you have a regular Canada plan…No but if you have the Canada/USA plan…Yes.

If you have the normal Canada plan, you will need to purchase a US Roamed bundle:

Even with a Canada/US plan, your only options while in the US are to call the US and Canada. Any international long distance add-on's won't work while in the US. E.g. with a long distance add on you might be able to call the UK from Canada, but you wouldn't be able to call the UK from the US, even with a Can/US plan (or roaming add-on) and an international long distance add-on.

What plan do you have with Unlimited international minutes????

If you have Canada and USA plan then phone should work in both countries without add-ons but not in other parts of the world.

@Jpainter which plan you got??  plans only include unlimited international text

there are specific plans as "Canada-US" plans, those are the only plans included US roaming. If you don't have those plan, you will need to buy roaming add-on to use the service in US

@Jpainter  only the CAN/US plans or a US roaming add on you need to use your phone in the US .any other long distance add on you have is nuts for calling from Canada

@Jpainter , I don't believe Public Mobile ever offered an unlimited international calling plan.  Perhaps you are referring to SMS.  To use the service in the US you have to buy a US roaming add-on or buy a plan that is CAN-US.
