Upgrading to $35 NEW 5g plan

Can anyone tell me if i will be issued or sent a new Sim card by upgrading to promotion offer? If so , how am i getting new card that offer says it comes with two types physical sim or e-sim?

Thank-you for any feedback on this renewal upgrade.

@YvonA1   Your current sim card will be fine, I upgraded from a 3G plan to a 5G plan using the same sim card and have had no service problems.

I was not sure as i upgraded to a new Iphone and wondered if that mattered or not, the Apple Store rep inserted the sim card from my old phone and currently thats working ,but with new upgrade was not sure if that made a difference or not to have a new sim card.

Oh, I see so no new sim card if your already a customer and upgrade to a new plan,  even though new plan offers it.

You won't be issued a new SIM card. Your current one will work just fine.
