Upgrades to Network

Hello, I got a text from Public Mobile on April 11 saying that they are making upgrades to the network, which may impact the voice connectivity. They said this will start on April 15. Since then, whenever I make/receive calls, nobody can hear me, or I cannot hear anybody. Does anybody know how long the upgrades will take? It's incredibly frustrating not being able to make or receive calls. The text message said to consider Telus deals, but I prefer to stay with Public as I like the deal. But if this continues happening, I don't think I can stay with this service anymore.

Do you have a List of PM compatible phones?

Just saying 'newer phones are fine' might not be satisfactory for most customers.

I see that makes sense. I have a 2020 LG Velvet. I also checked my IMEI number, and I don't think it is compatible with the network. Thanks for your help.

you likely have an older cell that doesn't support VoLTE. Here's some info and a devise checker at the bottome..

You may need to upgrade to a newer cell, but not all are VoLTE enabled in PM world. Most newer iPhones are fine...not sure about other brands.
