Upgraded to $35 plan (2GB promo?)

Hi all, I upgraded from the $15 plan to the $35 dollar plan 4 days ago and now there is a 2GB promo when you sign up for the $35 plan.  Is there a way I can get that extra 2GB added? or would I have to deactivate and then reactivate?  Thanks in advance.

but if you need to upgrade, it's not qualify, but you can try to Contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent ,
to ask them is better way and them only they know right answer for you, or maybe they give you a offer for 6 month for it,

@AE_Collector I feel the same way too! The promos keep on extending and are very frequent, hoping a permanent bump in data is on the way! My bet is a 1-2 GB boost in data for the $35+ plans.

2GB promo is for new activation only.

How long have you been with PM? If it is for few months only then it make sense to create new account. But consider cost of new SIM, loyalty, referrals rewards, etc.

The “Kresgin” in me thinks changes to data included in some or all plans will be improved soon. Maybe our Christmas gift from PM this Nov/Dec will be a bump in permanent monthly data rather than a one time add-on. The constant promo adding 2GB would seem to indicate a likely permanent change before long. To me at least. Then you can re-evaluate your data needs and possible change your plan down in price a little from $35.

If you decide to port out and back, I'd advise looking at your rewards before doing this, (Loyalty, referral, community) if it is a good amount, I'd not switch.

The 2GB data bonus promotions is only for new activations.  Not for upgrading plans.  Existing customers who upgrade their plans do not qualify.  

You can get this promotion if you activate a new plan with a new number/SIM card.
