Unlock a phone for my daughter

I’m trying to register a phone on your service to start up a plan for my daughter, but it’s saying that it’s locked. Can someone help?!?

The best thing you can do is contact the carrier the phone is with. They can unlock the phone for free, as well as tell you if there may be any other issues when trying to use the phone with other carriers.

What phone are you buying?

Are you buying an used phone?

Do you know which carrier that phone is locked to?

If it is locked to a Canadian carrier, you can call that carrier to get it unlocked without any charger.  Non-Canadian carrier phone, you need to buy unlock code.
