Hello,
Previously I was on a phone plan with unlimited text, 100 mins of calling and 250 MB of data for $18 per month. (It was $15/month but I was notified by text that the plan was increasing to $18/month on Oct 30... fine)
Anyway, I was looking on my account today (Dec 7), and it says my subscription is now $48/month and will renew on Dec 13. I didn't receive any communication about this price increase.
There are no other options for plans comparable to what I had before.
How do I get back to my basic $18/month plan? I'm going to unsubscribe otherwise

I believe that the simplest and most likely explanation is that of someone at Public Mobile typing in the wrong number. Fortunately, the plan descriptions are independent from the billing systems, so it's unlikely that anyone is anyone is being overcharged because of this error as the same mistake would have had to have been made multiple times.

I agree, I think it's a glitch. I have tried logging on in an incognito browser and it still shows $48, and the billing tab also shows $48. I don't think it's just an issue with my browser cache, but I think there has been some sort of mistake with the billing on my account. I've messaged support, thank you all for helping me figure this out.

It must be a display glitch of some sort. No such plan ever existed. If you already tried clearing your cache, message support to confirm. I'm sure it's fine, but you'll want to look into it with Public Mobile staff.

Add-on's don't renew automatically. What does it say in the Manage Subscription area?

Try clearing your browser or app cache and look again. Or try logging in from an Incognito browser window. I don't even recall seeing a $48 plan, so that sounds odd.
