Unable to receive sms or phone calls but can send them outgoing

This started on Saturday iphone 8. I can send sms and outgoing phone calls but cannot receive either. Connected phone to itunes, restarted device etc but no luck. I got family showing up here thinking the worst cause I wasn't answering calls I didn't know about. Can someone assist me please?

Just an FYI I think I got it sorted - or someone did as after multiple network resets and phone restarts it's now working. I got all the messages sent to me since last Friday all at once 😮 but testing shows it's working. Thanks for the help.

Still same thing - can make calls and send sms but can't receive either.

ask one of those family members to borrow their cell for a few seconds to test your sim in their cell. It's actually the quickest way to determine if the problem is sim related OR cell related. Please let us know results so we can further guide you.

Don't have another phone to try. I messaged CS_Agent with the problem, hopefully they can assist.

try your PM sim in a different unlocked cellphone to see if that makes any diff.
