I’m unable to activate my eSIM. I get a message that my phone is not eSIM compatible. I already purchased a physical SIM card and had it inserted. Still unable to activate my subscription.

Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here

you will need support agent to change the sim type from esim to physical and enter the sim card number. You can submit ticket by direct message:

Sounds like you deactivated your physical SIM card. And since your phone can't do eSIM, you may need a new SIM card.
Contact a CS Agent to confirm this. And if they say you need a new SIM card, the go with these options as PM sending it can take up to 4 weeks in the mail.
