While performing the activation process,the software did not like old telus account number (would not accept it) then input the other phone IMEI code from phone which it did not like. I ma now unable to move forward as it does not allow me to go back and try the activation process again.

hi @Jakester123 Telus account can for sure port into PM , so no worries
is the Telus account currently active?? Account number is good for porting, don't use IMEI
You can first activate with a temporary phone number and ask support to help to put in the port request , just open ticket after account fully setup
or you can also message support now and ask them to help now
